- Running your own business comes with many ups and downs, it is very important to not overly identify with either. Have a good base before leaping (education + six months savings of rent or a job)..
Teachers
Why did you go into education?
- To inspire youth to embrace their imaginations and realize their natural gifts.
- Seeing those "AHA" moments and getting positive feedback from parents about how much they love my class!
- Don't quit. There's no such thing as a "mistake".
- Creating stories and teaching youth is my passion. I wasn't supported to follow my dreams growing up. Having gone through the WEV Self Employment Training Program, my business has tripled and my vision is clearer than ever.
